“America’s Pastime” – Growing up in Kansas City, baseball was king, that’s all we did was play baseball in the summer from sunup to sundown. “America’s Pastime” is my way of conjuring up those memories. I wanted to pay tribute to the Black ball players, the Negro League teams who contributed to making baseball truly “America’s Pastime.”
